The Valley Forge Casino has teamed up with US Airways to give gamblers a few new cards to hold.

The two year old high-end casino is located just outside of Philadelphia in King of Prussia Pennsylvania  and already offers patrons membership in Valley Passport Club. The opportunity to swap points earned by enjoying time in the casino into frequent flyer miles makes Valley Forge “the only casino in the world where you can use your player points for something meaningful outside of the resort” according to CEO Mike Bowman.

The points exchange between Valley Forge and US Airways was facilitated by Canadian based Points.com. The agreement is an indicator of how loyalty program operators can add value through Smart Partneringa term we’ve coined at Loyalty Truth to describe how complementary brands can combine to offer enhanced value propositions to customers.

Better than using “other people’s money”, Smart Partnering unlocks greater value for loyalty program members through an equitable contributions from all partners involved.
